Keirita's Yoga & Diving

Please note that peak season for Koh Lipe accommodation lasts from mid December until mid March & busy holiday weekends outside of that period, such as Songkran (mid April) & Chinese new year. (Full moon in February) Most resorts will adjust their prices then so if you’re visiting during these periods you can expect to pay premium prices for everything. Should you happen to be traveling on a budget then you should try to avoid these holiday periods & weekends. The first few weeks of December are a great alternative time to come as the island is generally quite calm before the Christmas & New Years rush.

October / November & April / early May are considered normal high season, rates are less than in the peak high season but good deals book up fast so try to make your reservation well in advance in order to get the best rates.
Also as Malaysia is so close, we get a lot of Malaysians & Singaporeans traveling here just for the weekend so confirming rooms on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday can be difficult in the peak high season. If your schedule allows for flexibility then you should try to avoid the weekends in order to secure the best available quality accommodation.

From June through September is our green (low) season in Koh Lipe & accommodation prices are considerably less than that of the peak or the high. It’s generally speaking a great time to visit in terms of empty beaches & no crowds. Even though this is our monsoon, much of the rain falls in the night time, so the days are generally dry & sunny. May is usually very dry with clear skies. It’s my favourite month. June & September tend to be the months with the heaviest rainfall.

We offer a range of accommodation options ranging from charming & rustic bamboo bungalows with fan to budget aircon bungalows in the Homestay, to superior air con rooms including breakfast at the Sunflower (supplements apply) All the accommodation options including the bamboo fan bungalows all have private ensuite bathrooms with a hot water shower & easy access to the yoga studio & the PADI diving center, the beaches & Walking street.

We recommend the Homestay traditional Thai style bungalows located right next-door to the Keirita’s Yoga Studio. It has individual spacious bungalows which have Air con, queen size bed, hot water shower, TV, Fridge, private balcony. All rooms also have tea & coffee making facilities, complimentary water & WIFI in all bungalows. The private balcony’s all come with an outdoor wall mounted fan,  comfortable seating & also a hammock. The Homestay does not have a website but you can view pictures of the bungalows in the accommodation gallery. Please be aware that by choosing to stay at the Homestay you are directly supporting the local Chao Ley community of the island as this charming property is locally owned & operated by an english speaking Chao Ley family.

While breakfast is not available directly at The Homestay all the rooms come equipped with fridge & tea & coffee making facilities so you can keep drinks, yogurts or muslie, fresh fruit etc. cold  should you prefer to eat breakfast on your balcony some mornings. There are also several great bakeries & breakfast places just next door or around the corner on the walking street.
